The Clean Away COVID public service campaign was developed to provide families with important and timely information about keeping their home environments safe and clean during the pandemic.
In addition to this website, the Clean Away COVID campaign offers various resource materials at no cost to WIC, local and state health agencies, schools, non-profits, community and faith organizations and other groups serving families in their region.
Individuals and families are also welcome to download the materials at no cost. We encourage you to use and share these resources to help your community stay safe.

In less than five minutes, you can learn how to kick common infections like the cold, flu and coronavirus out of the house with these new step-by-step videos! Designed to be watched sequentially, each short video highlights the safest and most effective methods to clean away surface germs for a healthier family and home environment. Learn which tools work best, when to disinfect and how to safely disinfect. It’s as easy as 1-2-3!

The centerpiece of the Clean Away COVID campaign is our music video featuring the catchy Clean Away COVID song. The campaign also offers a series of very short informational videos on important aspects of hand washing, effective cleaning and safer disinfection in the home. All videos can be viewed on YouTube and shared through social media.

Clean Away COVID offers a series of posters and infographics in PDF format which can be downloaded, emailed and printed for home or office use. These resources are great reminders about the proper cleaning and disinfecting steps in the home.

Education Resources
The Clean Away COVID learning module offers important guidance on how to prevent the spread of infectious disease in the home. It requires about 21 minutes to view. The same module has also been split into 4 shorter sections, which run between 3 and 7 minutes, and focus on one of the four key areas of the campaign. Be sure to share these learning modules with your co-workers, clients, family and friends.
